Do you have a smart meter? Then chances are that it is compatible with a solar panel installation.
There are only two types of meter that are not compatible with solar panels. The analogue meter without a dial and a digital meter without a feed-in option. If your electricity meter is not compatible, you can have it replaced by your network operator free of charge.

An extra group will be placed in the meter box. How powerful this group needs to be depends on the number of solar panels you have installed. Do you have an older meter box with fuses or is there no room for an extra group? Then Sunleaves will install a small meter box with a separate group.
In principle, the inverter can be hung anywhere. In most cases, the attic, basement or garage is chosen. This is determined by the cable route from the solar panels to the meter cupboard. It is important that the inverter has enough space for ventilation. This is why it is almost never placed inside the meter box.
